DSP-2 is synthesized through a series of multi-step polymerizations which include AM,AA, AOBS and a novel cationic monomer with a unique ring structure under the influence of an initiator. It could enhances viscosity in freshwater muds, slightly increases viscosity in saltwater muds, reduces filtration loss, improves mud cake quality, and inhibits clay dispersion very efficient. DSP-2 is particularly suitable for seawater drilling fluids as well as deep well and ultra-deep well drilling fluids. The recommended dosage ranges from 3.0 to 5.0 ppb.
Appearance: White or light yellow powderPerform well up to 200 ºC, can be used for deep and ultra-deep wells.
It can increase the viscosity effectively in freshwater muds and increase the viscosity slightly in saltwater muds

Resist salt to saturation. It can be applied in freshwater, saltwater, saturated saltwater and seawater drilling and completion fluids.
