The polymerization of DSP-1 is conducted using the solvent method to optimize the monomers for resistance to salt and high temperatures. The appropriate space volume of the monomers increases steric hindrance and enhances the rigidity of the polymer molecules. As a result, DSP-1 addresses the limitations of poor shear performance, salt resistance, and FLHTHP performance found in traditional polymer filtration reducers, making it an excellent choice for reducing polymer filtration. It is suitable for use in deep wells, ultra-deep wells, and high-salinity brine drilling fluids with a recommended dosage range of 3 - 7ppb.
