OMP-2 is a specialized micro-nano plugging agent for oil-based drilling fluid, composed of expanded graphite produced through a unique process. When injected into the wellbore, the micro-nano particles undergo elastic deformation under differential pressure and effectively infiltrate the pores and fractures of the formation. This process significantly reduces formation permeability, prevents further intrusion by liquid and solid phases, creates a cage-like effect on the wellbore, enhances formation pressure-bearing capacity, and greatly improves borehole hardness. Additionally, due to its predominantly graphite composition, OMP-2 also exhibits lubricating properties. The recommended dosage ranges from 7.0 to 10.0 ppb.
