AP-1 is a shale inhibitor used in high-performance WBM, possessing excellent cationic absorbability, inhibitory capacity, and prolonged action. It effectively addresses issues caused by cations, such as severe flocculation and increased filtration. Its unique structure firmly absorbs onto clay particles to reduce interlayer spacing and prevent water invasion into the formation for borehole stabilization. This product can be directly added to various types of WBM, with a recommended dosage of 1.75-3.5 ppb.
