It is one of the most soluble classes of weighting agents, which dissolves almost completely in water and can be used alone to prepare brines with densities up to 13.0 lb/gal (>1.60g/cm3), meeting the needs of most drilling and completion brines without clay.
1.Suitable for brine based clay free drilling fluid, completion fluid, workover fluid and weighted fracturing fluid. By drastically reducing the water activity of brine, thereby reducing damage to the reservoir to improve the productivity of oil and gas wells, excellent lubrication and corrosion resistance can be achieved in drilling and completion clay free systems, thus greatly improving the drilling speed and shortening the well construction cycle.HD-160 is chemically compatible with reservoirs and fluids to avoid the introduction of harmful solids near wells and protect the productivity of valuable oil and gas wells.
2.Before using it,tests such as formation water compatibility should be carried out, and the optimal addition rate and maintenance concentration of the product should be determined through tests.
3.Solid product shall be packaged in 40kg woven sacks or 1000kg shipping sacks.
