NS-1 is a hydrophilic modified silica dispersion with particle sizes ranging from 1 to 100nm, effectively sealing nanoscale pores in shale. The surface of NS-1 particles contains a large number of unsaturated bonds that can interact with clay and barite at high temperatures, improving their suspension and preventing high temperature densification processes while reducing low-speed viscosity. Additionally, NS-1 can enhance mud cake quality and reduce HTHP filtration, with a recommended dosage of 3.5-10.5 ppb.
- The particle size of NS-1 is nanoscale, which can effectively block the nanoscale pores of shale, and is beneficial to the stability of the shale wellbore.
- Compatible with other additives well.
- It is beneficial to control high temperature rheology of high density drilling fluid, and can effectively reduce low speed viscosity of high density drilling fluid.
- Low fluorescence, can be applied to exploration wells.
- Improve the quality of mud cake and reduce the HTHP filtration.
- Resistance high temperature up to 220 ºC, can be used in deep and ultra-deep wells.
